Heat and Control Unveils Water-Saving, High-Speed Packaging Technologies

Heat and Control has introduced two innovations designed to meet industry's evolving demands for sustainability and efficiency: the Cascade Water Recirculation system and the Inspira Series high-speed bagmaker.
The Cascade Water Recirculation system is engineered to help food processors reduce freshwater consumption by up to 75 percent, without compromising product integrity or equipment reliability. This solution integrates two specialized modules, the Slice Wash Support Module (SWSM) and the Process Recirculation Support Module (PRSM). Together, these components deliver significant reductions in freshwater and energy usage, enhanced process performance, and improved sanitation outcomes.
The Cascade system reflects a proactive approach to environmental stewardship, aligning with modern sustainability benchmarks while maintaining operational excellence.
Additionally, developed by Heat and Control’s partner Ishida, the Inspira Series vertical form fill seal bagmaker sets a new standard in high-speed snack packaging. Capable of producing up to 220 small bags per minute, the Inspira Series uses rotary motion to ensure seal integrity across a wide range of film types. This makes it an ideal solution for manufacturers seeking both speed and reliability in high-throughput environments.
