The Swedish Food Agency (known as Livsmedelsverket in Swedish) is now offering free, public access to its full suite of food safety education e-learning courses. Previously, several of these courses cost money to attend, and some of them were only open to food safety control officials.

Many of the training courses may be of interest to food business owners, as well as food inspectors seeking continuing education.

At present, the Swedish Food Agency’s Educational Portal contains fifteen courses, covering topics like food additives, temperature measurement, Listeria, food export, the manufacture of fish products, drinking water production, and other areas. Most of the courses take can be completed in a matter of hours.
