Stop Foodborne Illness, FDA to Host ‘Culture Change Carnival’ Webinar in April

The Alliance to Stop Foodborne Illness and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have partnered on a multi-part webinar series focused on advancing food safety culture. Expanding on Series 1, the 2025–2026 webinar series will explore a different aspect of Edgar Schein's model of organizational culture, building from "Underlying Beliefs" to "Espoused Values," and finally, "Artifacts."
Taking place on Wednesday, April 15 at 11:00 A.M. CT, the fifth installment in Series 2, “Culture Change Carnival,” is described as a lightning-round session in which tools, insights, and creative activities will be offered by industry peers to continuously improve your food safety culture. Guest speakers will include Nalini Mahabir (Mars Petcare), Rachel Jorden (PepsiCo), and John Petie (Kayem), who will share out-of-the-box approaches to engage audiences and cultivate continuous improvement.
The session will offer real-world case studies and opportunities for direct engagement, including an extended Q&A.
The webinar is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
