A multistate outbreak of Salmonella Carrau has sickened at least 93 people in 9 states, says the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The source: Caito Foods LLC—the same supplier at the center of a similar outbreak that occurred nearly 1 year ago.
As of April 4th, 72 people in five states have been infected with Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli O103, but U.S. health officials have yet to pinpoint a common source.
