David Fliss Named Vice President for Client Development
David G. Fliss has been named AIB International’s vice president for client development. He will assume this role immediately, having served in an interim position since April and previously as AIB’s director of client development beginning in September 2014.
“David has already proven himself a great asset to AIB International,” says Andre Biane, president and CEO. “We are excited to have him step into this larger role for client development and move us to the next level.”
Fliss brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry to his new role. Immediately prior to joining AIB International, David served as vice president of global sales and marketing for Lawrence Foods where he expanded their global presence and opened their Mexico office. Previously he spent many years with CSM (now Corbion) and Caravan with significant experience in Mexico and Latin America.
Fliss has foreign and domestic experience in sales force management, business development, account management, strategic selling, and team building in the business to business segment of the food and beverage industry. Additionally David brings extensive background in global account management and business to business marketing from the baking, food ingredients, and food service segments of the industry. His work has had global reach, including experience in Mexico, South America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
