Credit: ReposiTrak
On Wednesday, July 23 at 2:00 P.M. ET, ReposiTrak will hold a free informational webinar on the growing demand for food traceability from major retailers and wholesalers—and what it means for suppliers. Attendees can expect to learn how to simplify and scale their traceability strategies to meet customer expectations, as well as compliance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) Food Traceability Final Rule (also known as Section 204(d) of the Food Safety Modernization Act, or FSMA 204).
Hosted by ReposiTrak Partners Mark Johnson and Brian Shanahan, the hour-long webinar is intended for food suppliers, manufacturers, and industry professionals responsible for regulatory compliance, supply chain, information technology (IT), and customer success. Topics to be discussed include:
- Which players are demanding traceability now, and the data they expect
- Immediate steps suppliers can take to get traceability-ready
- How to support traceability for all customers, no matter the format or timeline.
Although the Food Traceability Final Rule compliance deadline has been extended, suppliers and manufacturers are already receiving traceability requests from customers—with different data requirements, formats, and timelines. Even those who are already collecting data must be careful to ensure that the data they deliver is accurate and consistent to maintain valuable business relationships. The ReposiTrak webinar will help suppliers understand what is expected and how to respond in terms of traceability data.
