NomadX: Preventing Food Safety Crises—A New Approach to Detection, Decontamination, and Intervention

Lyle Probst is the CEO of NomadX and an accomplished entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in operations, product development, engineering, biodefense, and advanced technology commercialization.

Throughout his career, Lyle has founded and led multiple companies spanning manufacturing, biomedical technology, defense, and software. He previously served as CEO of MicroFluidic Systems, where he led development of the M-BAND biological detection system for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The autonomous platform was designed to continuously monitor biological threats and was ultimately licensed by Boeing.

Today, Lyle leads NomadX's mission to help food producers prevent contamination through innovative approaches to detection and decontamination. He has spoken at the National Academy of Sciences and National BioWatch conferences and has appeared on nationally televised media programs. Lyle holds a B.S. degree in Biology and an M.B.A. degree in Executive Management.
