Agralink Expands Poultry Farm Monitoring System

Responding to the realities of modern farms, Agralarm’s poultry operation monitoring platform, Agralink, has been updated to add water meter monitoring, custom call lists, expanded dry contact sensor capability, and a scheduled reporting add-on.
The water meter monitoring capability, Bring Your Own Water Meter, allows farms to connect their existing water meters directly to the Agralink dry contact sensor. A single sensor can handle up to three separate water meters at once, saving on hardware costs. Most water meters already installed on farms use a dry contact pulse output, which means implementation is straightforward.
The dry contact sensor has also been upgraded to handle up to three separate inputs simultaneously. Farms can now monitor a controller, a water pressure switch, and a power input through the same device, eliminating hardware cost while expanding the capabilities of each sensor.
New custom call lists let farms assign different notification sequences to different locations or alarm types. A maintenance team can receive generator alarms without also being called for a temperature reading for which they are not responsible. Larger operations with separate teams, multiple tenants, or independent farm sites can now run notifications under a single Agralink account, with each group only receiving relevant updates.
Finally, a reporting add-on, System Snapshot Report, sends automated emails that capture current sensor readings at any time. For example, farm operators can send feed bin levels to their feed mill five times a day, eliminating the need for calls to coordinate deliveries.
