The company will now offer U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-recognized Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Preventive Controls Qualified Individual for Human Food Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) training.

The course provides a better understanding of the requirements of FDA Standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, FDA compliance, hazard analysis and risk-based preventive controls that meet the needs of FSMA. The FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual for Human Food FSPCA Training helps ensure the safe manufacturing/processing, packing and holding of food products for human consumption in the U.S.

This FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) training course was developed by FSPCA and is the standardized curriculum recognized by FDA. Successfully completing this course is one way to meet the FMSA employee training requirements for a PCQI.

This FSMA training course is designed with a curriculum which is intended as a FSMA PCQI training tool to assist companies in complying with the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act preventive controls regulations as part of the FSMA final rules. LRQA now offers this course for public registration and for private, on-site delivery.
