Coconut flour recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination
Supply chain investigated as potential source of contamination

King Arthur Flour Company has recalled 6,300 cases of organic coconut flour after testing showed Salmonella in one pouch of the product.
The affected product is 16-oz. packages of Organic Coconut Flour with best if used by dates of Oct. 25 (LOT: CF22017E) and Dec. 4 (LOT: CF22017E). The products have a UPC of 0 71017 10702 5. The flour was distributed to retailers nationwide. The company is investigating the supply chain as the possible source of contamination.
There have been no reports of injuries or illnesses. Consumers should throw the product away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
