Purchase of PrimusLabs' Auditing Division Makes Way for Primus Auditing Operations
Javier Sollozo, PrimusLabs’ former director of auditing operations, announced this week that he has reached an agreement to purchase PrimusLabs’ Auditing Division from the company. The new company is JS Audit Group Inc., which will do business as Primus Auditing Operations.
The sale of PrimusLabs’ Auditing Division was prompted by an agreement made in early 2014 between Primus Group, Inc. and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) during the re-benchmarking process for the PrimusGFS version 2.1 audit scheme to address a change made by GFSI to its previous bylaws.
Sollozo says, “I feel honored that PrimusLabs made this deal with me. I look forward to this new challenge with great anticipation and with the knowledge that PrimusLabs has had a long history of providing stellar service to the fresh produce industry. I myself, as well as all of our other employees, know that we have an obligation to continue to provide our clients with the level of service that they have come to expect. I know I have a great team working with me to make sure that happens. We are prepared and will continue to work to ensure that the transition of the auditing operation from PrimusLabs to JS Audit Group will have little to no impact on the clients so that they can focus on their operations and know that their auditing needs will continue on uninterrupted.”
