Superlift South Inc. has expanded its line of stainless steel lift tables for sanitary production environments, including food processing facilities that require frequent equipment cleaning and washdowns.

The tables feature fully welded, tungsten inert gas (TIG)-welded stainless steel construction and an open design intended to improve accessibility during sanitation. Double- and triple-scissor models use plate construction rather than hollow tubing to reduce enclosed areas where product residues or moisture could become trapped.

Additional sanitary design features include formed platforms and bases that minimize welds, Delrin rollers with replaceable bolted-in bearings, and surface finishes ranging from 2B to electropolished and 35 Ra. An optional sanitation package includes six-inch adjustable legs to provide access for cleaning beneath the equipment.

Stainless Steel Lift Tables for Food Processing and Washdown Applications

Superlift's stainless steel lift tables are available in single-, double-, and triple-scissor configurations, including low-profile, ground-level, portable, self-propelled, rotating, and tilting models.

Manufactured using North American 304L and 316L stainless steel, the tables have load capacities ranging from 500 to 10,000 pounds (lbs.), with custom configurations available for loads up to 20,000 lbs. Maximum lift heights reach 216 inches.

Power options include washdown-rated and stainless steel motors, air-powered systems, and spark-proof and explosion-proof configurations. The tables are also available with National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 4X-rated controls.

According to the company, the equipment is designed to meet U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements.

For cleanroom and laboratory applications, Superlift also offers electric actuator models that eliminate the need for hydraulic oil and fluids. These models are available in 304 and 316 stainless steel for ISO-rated environments, with load capacities up to 4,000 lbs. Custom sizes and configurations are also available.

Superlift reported that several models are available for immediate delivery, including tables with capacities of 2,000–4,000 lbs. and 40-inch lift heights, as well as a 3,000-lb. double-scissor model with a 78-inch lift height. The company also manufactures custom configurations to order.
