QualiTru Names New Board Chair
QualiTru Sampling Systems has appointed food industry executive Keira L. Lombardo as the new Chair of its Board of Directors.
Ms. Lombardo has executive leadership and board experience across the food, dairy, and protein industries, with a background in enterprise strategy, growth, organizational transformation, and governance. She currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer of Cal-Maine Foods Inc.
Before joining Cal-Maine Foods, Lombardo served as Chief Executive Officer of Dairy MAX. She also spent two decades with Smithfield Foods, ultimately serving as Chief Administrative Officer and a member of the company’s executive leadership team. Throughout these roles, she has worked with boards and leadership teams on strategy, growth, governance, and organizational transformation. She also serves on boards in the food manufacturing and technology sectors.
QualiTru CEO David Roesser, Ph.D. highlighted Ms. Lombardo’s strategic thinking, food industry experience, and Board leadership as qualities that will help the company grow and evolve while building on the success of its people, culture, and capabilities.
Ms. Lombardo applauded QualiTru’s foundation of scientific expertise, customer relationships, and personnel. She stated her goals are helping the Board and leadership team to build its existing strengths, shaping the strategy for QualiTru’s next phase, and positioning the company for durable growth and impact.
