Monadnock’s Compostable Card Achieves TÜV OK Home Compost Certification

Monadnock Paper Mills Inc.’s Compostable Card has been awarded the TÜV OK Home Compost certification.
The certification verifies that the Compostable Card material meets standards for safe decomposition in home composting environments, marking an important recognition for brands seeking to replace single-use plastics with renewable, fiber-based alternatives.
Developed as a versatile, durable alternative to plastic, Monadnock’s Compostable Card is a paper-based, bright-white engineered board made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled fiber (PCRF) and materials compliant with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) food contact requirements.
Engineered for demanding environments, the print material delivers moisture resistance and temperature stability, while still breaking down in home composting following proper disposal. Compostable Card is suitable for use across applications, including food-contact materials like bakery boxes.
