In food processing facilities, where food safety and sanitation are always top-of-mind, an effective pest management program is fundamental. Often overlooked, a facility’s building design can be a key indicator of the level of pest activity the facility may encounter.

Led by Jay Newell, Technical Services Manager at Rentokil, this webinar will take a deep dive into the architectural and operational elements of your facility’s design that may be driving pest activity. We will also examine where and how to inspect for target pests, and how to leverage this knowledge to build an effective pest management program for your facility.

Key takeaways include:

  • Elements of facility design that may increase pest risk
  • Inspection techniques for pests commonly found in food processing facilities
  • Capabilities and risks associated with pests in food facilities
  • How the unique nature of a facility’s design influences pest management strategies
