Simmons Prepared Foods, Inc., a Gentry, Ark. establishment, is recalling approximately 2,071,397 pounds of poultry products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. 

Food Safety Net Services (FSNS) has announced its course schedule for food safety training for the upcoming year.

The FDA will be continuing its enforcement discretion policy for compliance with certain FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) supply-chain program requirements applicable to receiving facilities that are co-manufacturers.

The products are being recalled because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

In cooperation with Mann Packing Co., Inc.’s voluntary recall of vegetable products due to possible contamination of Listeria monocytogenes, Albertsons Companies is voluntarily recalling multiple products that contain vegetables subject to the Mann Packing recall. Albertsons Co.'s recall impacts stores in multiple states.

Padrino Foods, LLC, an Irving, Texas establishment, is recalling approximately 1,931 pounds of beef tamales because the products may be misbranded, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

Cay Thi Queentrees Food USA, the importer of record, a Garden Grove, Calif. firm, is recalling approximately 43,848 pounds of poultry products that were imported and distributed in the United States without the benefit of FSIS import re-inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert because New York Style Sausage Co., a Sunnyvale, Calif. establishment, sold 77 pounds of raw pork sausage products that were misbranded.
