GMA, Chinese Food Industry Group to Partner on Food Safety

FDA, NASDA Ink Agreement to Implement Produce Safety Rule

The U.S. FDA yesterday announced a new cooperative agreement with the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture that will provide funding and support necessary to determine the current foundation of state law and the resources needed by states to implement the produce safety rule, and will develop a timeline for successful implementation once the rule is finalized.
