Mojix has released a guide to help businesses prepare for and become compliant with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) Food Traceability Final Rule, fulfilling Section 204 of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA 204). Under this rule, any company or person who manufactures, processes, packs, or holds foods that are considered high-risk, indicated on the Food Traceability List (FTL), is subject to FSMA 204.
The Food Traceability Final Rule mandates businesses to track and trace high-risk foods across the supply chain in order to mitigate public health and safety risks. It requires businesses to maintain precise records of all key data elements (KDEs) and critical tracking events (CTEs).
Mojix’s new playbook, titled, FSMA 204 Compliance Roadmap: A Guide for Food Producers and Retailers, provides information that organizations need to achieve traceability compliance with the Food Traceability Final Rule by January 1, 2026.
