The Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy has announced a free webinar on foreign material prevention in dairy products, taking place January 31, 2024.

The Innovation Center provides an open forum for knowledge sharing on food safety, convening senior experts from dairy companies to share best practices for preventing foreign material in products. The free webinar will cover a structured preventive approach and specific guidance for cheese, ice cream, powders, and other dairy products, as well as practical proven strategies to prevent foreign material issues.  

The webinar is taking place at 1:00 P.M. CST on January 31, 2024. Registration is required.

Speakers include Dave Wentz of Sargento Foods, Amanda Fischer of Schreiber Foods, Gale Beard of Grande Cheese and Ingredients, and Adam Bolain of Commercial Quality and Food Safety Systems. A closing Q&A panel will include additional experts who contributed to the materials covered in the webinar, specifically: Jeremy Travis of Hilmar Cheese and Ingredients, Stacy Eckert of Blue Bell Creameries, E.J. Brady of Prairie Farms, Brian Kraus of Wells Blue Bunny, Steve Couto of Hilmar Cheese and Ingredients, Dave Kedzierski of United Dairymen of Arizona, consultant Dave Cook, and Chad Galer and Tim Stubbs of the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy/Dairy Management Inc.
