Camlin Fine Sciences Acquisition Opens Doors to North, Central and South America

F00f535b e614 4e18 ab690f2a8b5763ee
May 25, 2016

Camlin Fine Sciences (CFS)--an integrated manufacturer of traditional antioxidants--has acquired Dresen Quimica S.A. de C.V.--a manufacturer and distributor of specialty intermediate chemical solutions used in Mexican food, feed blends, and industrial products--in Mexico City, Mexico.

Now owning a 65 percent stake in Dresen, CFS now provides North, Central and South America with products like antioxidant blends (traditional and natural), bactericides, and mold inhibitors for the animal nutrition, pet food, aquaculture, and rendering industries.

The partnership between CFS and Dresen is aimed at gaining a global position in the shelf life solutions industry. In addition to its headquarters in Mexico City, Dresen also has operations in Guatemala, Peru, Colombia, Dominican Republic, and most recently in Urbandale, IA.
