Hostess recalls brownies due to missing information on packaging

"Contains" statement does not list egg as an allergen

Hostess Brands, LLC has recalled packages of its Cookies 'n Crème Brownies that do not list egg as an allergen in the "Contains" statement.

The packages list eggs as an ingredient, but not as an allergen in the "Contains" statement, which is designed to further alert consumers of allergens in the products. No illnesses have been reported to date.
