Dr. Steven Gendel has been named vice president of IEH Laboratories and Consulting Group’s Food Allergen Division. He is tasked with helping the existing team to produce the safest food possible.

Most recently, Gendel served the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition as the food allergen coordinator. He was responsible for all issues related to food allergen risk management. Gendel's experience and subject matter expertise is displayed in the extensive body of work he has amassed on the topics of food safety and allergen risk assessment.
