NACMCF to Hold Another Meeting on Cyclospora in Produce, Cronobacter in Powdered Infant Formula
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA’s FSIS) has announced an upcoming virtual public meeting of the full National Advisory Committee on Microbiological Criteria for Foods (NACMCF). The committee will discuss and vote to adopt a report, titled, "Cyclospora cayetanensis in Produce." NACMCF will also provide an update on its charge regarding Cronobacter in powdered infant formula.
The NACMCF charges and documents to be discussed in the upcoming meeting can be viewed on FSIS’ website. FSIS will finalize an agenda on or before the meeting date and post it on the FSIS website as well.
