Spectacular Labs Inc. has announced that it will unveil its plans for a fast, accurate, and automated pathogen testing platform at the upcoming International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) 2023 Annual Meeting, taking place July 16–19 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.
Attendees will be able to learn more about the company’s development plans for the new platform that covers enrichment to reporting and only requires one minute hands-on time by operators. The solution will enable food and beverage companies to easily detect pathogens onsite, and testing laboratories will be able to scale operations cost-effectively.
Spectacular Labs was the first company to fully automate the foodborne pathogen testing workflow from enrichment to reporting. With a full commercial launch expected in early 2024, the platform will be used to detect pathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, Escherichia coli, and Campylobacter.
IAFP 2023 attendees interested in more information on Spectacular Labs’ pathogen testing technology can visit booth number 150 in the exhibit hall. The company will be providing demonstrations and is open to discussing potential early-access collaborations. Those interested in a private briefing can email contact@spectacularlabs.com.
