Marley Engineered Products Introduces Explosion-Proof Unit Heaters

Marley Engineered Products has introduced a new line of explosion-proof unit heaters designed for use in environments where combustible dust, vapors, or gases may be present, including food and beverage processing facilities.
The heaters, marketed under the QMark GUX Series and Berko RUX Series, were developed to meet safety requirements for classified hazardous locations, including Class I and II; Divisions 1 and 2; and Groups C, D, E, F, and G.
The heaters are constructed with cold-rolled steel cabinets and corrosion-resistant coatings to support durability in harsh operating environments. Optional materials, including 316 stainless steel and Heresite coatings, are offer additional protection in corrosive conditions.
The units carry a T3C temperature rating of 320 °F and are equipped with automatic and manual reset overtemperature cutouts, as well as a 70 PSIG relief valve, which are intended to mitigate overheating and pressure risks. The heaters also feature IP55-rated motors and Type 4 outdoor enclosures designed for wet or washdown environments.
Airflow capacity ranges from 550 to 3,850 cubic feet per minute, supporting heat distribution across large industrial spaces.
