Provision Announces Real-Time Food Safety Risk Scoring for Food, Beverage Operations

Provision has introduced Provision Risk Scoring, a new system designed to measure food and beverage operations’ real-time likelihood of regulatory non-conformance. Launching in early 2026, the tool translates complex food safety records into clear, actionable insights, enabling continuous monitoring and informed decision-making at all levels of an organization.
Unlike traditional risk assessments that rely on periodic audits and subjective hazard rankings, Provision Risk Scoring leverages operational data to provide ongoing visibility. The system simplifies outputs into accessible formats—using visuals, color codes, and single-number scores—allowing users from the production floor to executive leadership to quickly interpret and act on findings.
Provision Risk Scoring was developed with input from Provision’s Strategic Advisors, a group of global food safety experts representing various sectors of the supply chain, including growers, distributors, and manufacturers.
The system is designed to support food safety teams in transforming compliance documentation into a dynamic tool for operational resilience and continuous improvement.
