STOP Foodborne Illness Opens Nominations for '40 Under 40' Program

STOP Foodborne Illness has opened applications for its third annual "40 Food Safety Professionals Under 40" program and is seeking nominations of up-and-coming food safety professionals.
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Nominees must be between 18 and 39 years old.
- Nominees must have made significant contributions to food safety and food safety culture in their respective field.
- Nominees must not have been previously selected for the STOP "40 Under 40" award. Previous applicants are welcome to reapply, but previous winners may not.
- Self-nominations are warmly welcomed.
- A completed form includes an up-to-date resume from the nominee, as well as a one-page cover letter written by the nominator.
- The one-page cover letter should outline why you are making this nomination, specific examples of the candidate's contribution to food safety and food safety culture, and how the candidate demonstrates leadership potential.
- In the event of a self-nomination, the applicant will write this letter on their own behalf.
- Applications will close on Monday, July 7th at 11:59 p.m. EST.
