The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Food Safety (OFS) and the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) are hosting a virtual public meeting on Salmonella with participation from the Agricultural Research Service (ARS), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that it will hold a public meeting on October 21, 2019, to hear from a broad cross-section of stakeholders on a modern approach, called “A New Era of Smarter Food Safety,” that the agency is planning to take to strengthen its protection of the food supply.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will be holding a series of four one-day public meetings entitled “Standards for the Growing, Harvesting, Packing and Holding of Produce for Human Consumption: Draft Guidance for Industry.”
