New U.S. Additive Bans: How to Prepare and Protect Your Brand

KEYWORDS: food safety

The pace of U.S. state-level regulation on food additives is accelerating, with 35 states so far with either proposed legislation or passed laws—such as California's landmark additives ban, effective 2027. Food and beverage manufacturers that wait to comply will face the risk of product reformulations, shipment rejections, and brand backlash. You must act now to mitigate compliance and sourcing risks.

Our webinar will explore the evolving U.S. additives landscape and what global brands need to do today to stay compliant, competitive, and agile.

Attendees will learn:

  • The latest updates on state and federal additives bans, GRAS re-evaluations, and state-level legislation
  • The impact of ingredient restrictions on product development, sourcing, labeling, and market access
  • Trends in consumer advocacy, enforcement signals, and federal vs. state divergence
  • Three actions you can take today to stay ahead of regulatory change

Speaker:
