NACMCF to Hold Public Meeting with Updates on Cronobacter, Cyclospora Work
The full committee of the National Advisory Committee on Microbiological Criteria for Foods (NACMCF) will hold a hybrid in-person and virtual public meeting on May 16, 2023 to provide an update on the Cyclospora cayetanensis in produce and Cronobacter in powdered infant formula subcommittee work. The work charges were advanced to NACMCF by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
NACMCF is an advisory committee, established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). It provides impartial scientific advice and peer reviews to federal food safety agencies for use in the development of an integrated national food safety systems approach.
