The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has launched a frequently asked questions (FAQ) section on the new Preventive Controls and Produce Safety rules.
This section provides answers to questions ranging from “What is product tracing and why is it important?” to “How would the proposed requirements for hazard analysis and risk-based preventive controls relate to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points systems?” and “What does the proposed produce safety rule establish?”

The most recently asked questions are highlighted, and users can sign up to receive updates to the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) by email.
