DeLaval Cleaning Solutions now offers Realzyme products, which are a leading enzyme cleaning technology. Designed for in-depth cleaning of difficult soils and systems, such as biofilms and membrane cleaning, Realzyme is safe for employees and easy on equipment.

Realzyme’s patented enzyme technology features a 100 percent biodegradable formula for effective and targeted cleaning of CIP and membrane systems, including food and beverage processing applications.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer dairy processors in the United States a cleaning solution which is all-natural and gentle yet extremely effective at biofilm treatments, cleaning surfaces and extending operation cycles,” said Dr. Carolina Mateus, director of DeLaval Cleaning Solutions. “Realzyme’s enzymes are highly efficient in soil removal, which means processors have the potential to save resources without having to worry about adverse effects on the environment.”

Belgium-based Realco, which operates as Realzyme in the U.S., is a world leader in the development, production, and sale of enzyme-based hygiene solutions and processes. The company was founded more than 50 years ago.
