Mactac announces interior floor graphic products for the roll label market

Floor graphic products are now available in narrow web format

Mactac announces interior floor graphic products for the roll label market
August 17, 2020

Company: Mactac

Website: www.mactac.com

Equipment Snapshot: Mactac has announced that its interior floor graphic products are now available for the roll label market.

The new narrow web format floor graphic solutions can be used for social distancing, safety signage, and more on a wide variety of indoor surfaces, such as standard tile, vinyl linoleum, terrazzo, ceramic tile, smooth sealed concrete, and hardwood floors.

“For 50 years Mactac has been at the forefront of pressure-sensitive adhesive product development for wall, window, floor, and vehicle graphic applications in the wide-format graphics industry and we are excited to bring our expertise and products to the roll label market,” says Sara Damante, senior marketing manager, Mactac Performance Adhesives. “Especially now, with the COVID-19 pandemic, we have come to rely on floor graphics for social distancing and other safety signage, and our narrow web format floor graphic products will give roll label customers new opportunities to be full-service providers for their customers.”

Mactac’s interior floor graphic products for roll label customers include the company’s REBEL multi-print media with PERMACOLOR PermaFlex overlaminates.

REBEL multi-print media is a 3.0-mil versatile, high-quality media designed to provide exceptional performance and functionality for interior floor graphic applications. It features a removable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive and is supported with a 90# polycoated liner. A non-topcoated vinyl solution, REBEL is available with a gloss or matte white finish and is ideal for both flexographic and digital print technologies. REBEL has indoor durability of up to 5 years.

To add graphic durability, protection and slip-resistance, REBEL multi-print media is paired with Mactac’s PERMACOLOR PermaFlex overlaminates. PermaFlex overlaminates meet or exceed industry standards for slip-resistance and high-traction and add graphic protection against scuffing and moisture. They are coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side and feature a 1.2-mil polyethylene liner. PermaFlex overlaminates are available in a 5.0-mil textured vinyl construction for longer-term applications (up to 1 year) or a 3.75-mil textured polyolefin construction for shorter-term applications (up to 1 month).

Mactac’s narrow web format floor graphics are available in 13-inch or 54-inch master rolls.
