On June 26, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will join Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt for a press conference to kickstart the “Make Oklahoma Healthy Again” campaign.
In a statement, HHS described the campaign as promoting “common-sense health policies, medical freedom, and a return to personal responsibility.”
The press conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. Central Time on June 26 at the Oklahoma State Capitol Building.
As reported by Food Safety Magazine, Texas Governor Greg Abbott earlier this month signed Senate Bill 25—dubbed the “Make Texas Healthy Again” bill—into law.
Sen. Lois Kolkhorst, who authored SB 25, has specifically tied the legislation to the Trump Administration’s “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) agenda.
