Eurofins Scientific Acquires QC Laboratories
Last month, Eurofins Scientific announced that it has acquired QC Laboratories (QCL), becoming part of a global network of 200 labs across 36 countries. This includes a U.S.-based Environment Testing network of six laboratories and 15 service centers.
Eurofins is known for environmental, food and pharmaceutical testing. QCL’s expertise as a full-service environmental and food testing provider and dairy reference laboratory brings added breadth to the Eurofins network. Having offered environmental and food analytical testing services since 1943, this acquisition will enable QCL to support customers with expanded environmental and food analytical capabilities. Capitalizing on Eurofins’ strong global brand awareness, QC Laboratories legally became Eurofins QC, Inc. on May 1, 2015.
