CAS Dataloggers recently announced availability of the T70 cold chain data logger manufactured by Frigga. The devices enable real-time tracking of perishable shipments by providing temperature, humidity, shock, and location data.

The T70 incorporates a built-in LTE 4G/5G cellular modem with a Global roaming SIM card to enable worldwide use. Data is automatically uploaded and can be viewed through the Frigga cloud-based web software and the Frigga Track mobile app. Data can also be exported from the website as an Excel spreadsheet or PDF report, including summary statistics and a detailed list of time, temperature, and location data.

Features of the T70 include:

  • Reusable with rechargeable battery
  • Onboard storage of 50,000 readings
  • Up to 120 days of operation on a single charge
  • User-selectable data logging and data upload interval
  • LCD with minimum/maximum/average temperature and alarm indication
  • Alerts via email, SMS, or app (iOS and Android)
  • Temperature measurement range from -30 °C to +70 °C, with typical accuracy of ±5 °C
  • Humidity measurement range from 5-95 percent relative humidity, with typical accuracy ±3 percent.

The T70 provides visibility into the cold chain by tracking location, temperature, humidity, shock, and route with data automatically sent to the cloud. These loggers are ideal for food applications that require real-time cold chain monitoring along with location. Frigga loggers are used by industry-leading companies including 7-Eleven, McDonald's, and DHL.
