The Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) has announced that its 128^th Annual Education Conference will take place June 9–12, 2023 in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the Amway Grand Plaza.

The AFDO conference partners with regional AFDO affiliates to present the Annual Education Conference in a different geographic area each year. For five days each June when meeting in person, the AFDO Annual Education Conference brings together food safety professionals from government, states, academia, consumer groups, and manufacturing.

Subject matter experts convene for the educational conference ready and willing to share their knowledge. Dozens of national and international experts will discuss more than 40 topics in food manufacturing, food retail, produce, cannabis, and more.

AFDO also hosts pre-conference in-depth workshops and training opportunities on a broad number of topics adjacent to the annual conference. A special first-time attendees session and communications help newcomers make the most of their conference experience.
