Mettler Toledo Announces Grand Opening of New State-of-the-Art Facility
The Product Inspection Group of Mettler Toledo, a manufacturer of product inspection systems for the food and pharmaceutical industries, is hosting a grand opening event for their customers and trade media on July 12 and 13, 2018. The 265,000 square feet of office and manufacturing space in Lutz, FL, houses three business units – Safeline metal detection and X-ray inspection, high speed checkweighing, and CI-Vision machine vision and PCE Track&Trace/Serialization units.
Attendees will hear from expert speakers on hot industry topics such as Internet of Things, factors affecting packaging trends, OEE, TCO, data integrity/audit trail, equipment safety, hygienic design, and choosing the right inspection system.
They will also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations with equipment of all five technologies, as well as tour the facility. On Thursday following optional excursions, attendees can visit the product fair during a reception, where equipment from other Mettler Toledo divisions will be on display with experts to demonstrate systems from Lab, Industrial, Process Analytics, Rainin, and Retail.
The new state-of-the-art facility elevates Mettler Toledo's capabilities, with a much larger production area, first-class training and test labs, as well as multiple FAT rooms. With collaborating R&D resources and extensive combined industry application expertise, METTLER TOLEDO is positioned to deliver even more innovative solutions.
