Agilent Technologies Introduces Portable FTIR Package to Identify Polymers, Measure Total Phthalates

Agilent Technologies Inc. has introduced the Agilent 4500 Polymer Package, designed to help manufacturers ensure the quality and safety of products made from PVC polymer. It is meant to identify polymers and rapidly screen them for banned or restricted chemicals such as phthalates. The new portable product brings the analytical precision of Fourier transform infrared spectrometry to any location and delivers lab-quality results.
