Slideshow: Implementing FSMA

According to FDA, the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) is “transforming the nation’s food safety system by shifting the focus from responding to foodborne illness to preventing it.” FDA chose seven rules in order to implement FSMA. The rules were enacted to prevent contamination, and write out a set of actions that must be taken at each point. See below for new software and technology that help companies adhere to FSMA or read our "Implementing FSMA" article for more information.
