Abhay Grover, M.S. is a Ph.D. candidate and Instructor in supply chain management at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, with a research focus on food safety and quality management in agri-food value chains. With over seven years of experience working with Fortune 200 firms such as John Deere and Whirlpool Corp., he has collaborated closely with suppliers, production, and customers to drive product and process improvements. He has also provided consultation on Industry 4.0 technology adoption for manufacturers, including food facilities, at the Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS) at Iowa State University. His research has been published in a number of technical and professional journals. He received the Frédéric Bastiat Fellowship Award in 2022, the Warner Professional Practice Award in 2020, and the Iowa State University Research Excellence Award in 2017.
