New LGMA Tech Training Video Aimed at Farm Workers

November 20, 2014

The California Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement (LGMA) released a new video this week that is now part of the organization’s training program. Aimed at farm workers, the video is the result of a growing partnership the LGMA has built with another organization––STOP Foodborne Illness.

The training video features members of STOP who themselves have been personally affected by foodborne outbreaks in the past. Their message explains the importance of following proper food safety practices on leafy greens farms. The video stresses not only what farms should be doing, but why.

To view the video, visit LGMA.ca.gov.
