Andrew Clarke, M.Sc. is the Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Loblaw Companies Ltd. In this role, he leads the quality assurance function, overseeing supplier approval, performance management, and the overall safety, quality, and consistency of Loblaw's control brand food and non-food products. His career spans diverse sectors, including manufacturing, retail, foodservice, auditing, and regulatory enforcement with the UK Food Standards Agency. Andrew holds an M.Sc. degree in Food Safety Management and a B.Sc. degree in Food Technology. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Food Science and Technology (UK), a longstanding member of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP), and a recipient of several prestigious food safety awards.
