Meghan Donnelly M.S., R.D.N., C.D.N.

Meghan Donnelly, M.S., R.D.N., C.D.N., is a Registered Dietitian and the Senior Manager of Nutrition Services at Dr. Schär USA. She has been with the company since 2018. Meghan holds an M.S. degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University and completed her clinical training at the Bronx Veterans Affairs Medical Center in New York City. Her specialty and passion is helping people heal from digestive health issues, such as celiac disease, gluten intolerance, and irritable bowel syndrome. She is also an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, serving multiple leadership roles within the gastrointestinal nutrition specialty practice group.

A gluten-free diet is the only treatment for individuals with celiac disease, which is an autoimmune disease affecting approximately 1 percent of the world population. Even small amounts of gluten ingestion can cause a person with celiac disease to become ill, which is why food safety is paramount.
