The 21st Annual Food Safety Summit occurred last week in Rosemont, IL, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, and over 1,400 food safety professionals representing the leading foodservice and retail establishments, manufacturers and processors, distributors, regulators, and academicians attended.

Since 1988, thousands of food safety professionals and solution providers have gathered at the Food Safety Summit to share actionable information about processes, procedures and products that can be used to minimize food safety risks and protect their consumers, customers and brands.

Over 80 food safety experts will be a part of the speaker faculty at the upcoming Food Safety Summit, taking place May 6-9, 2019 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

According to the FDA Food Code Active Managerial Control (AMC) is defined as “the purposeful incorporation of specific actions or procedures by industry management into the operation of their business to attain control over foodborne illness risk factors.” 

Food allergens are a matter of life and death daily for many in the U.S. and globally.

“Partners with a Common Purpose,” is an initiative that recognizes a common purpose embraced and supported by both government regulators and industry alike in improving public health and consumer services.

The Food Safety Summit has announced eight certificate/certification classes to be offered at the 21st annual Conference & Expo taking place May 6-9, 2019 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

This open interactive forum will help prepare the food safety professional on the best practices to survive a high-profile crisis.
