The 2023 Food Safety Summit, held from May 8–11, was a highly anticipated event that brought together 2,700 industry professionals, researchers, policymakers, and experts in person and virtually from around the world to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in ensuring food safety.

The closing session of the 2023 Food Safety Summit featured a panel discussion among prominent attorneys who work on behalf of consumers and industry—with all advocating on the side of food safety. Expert lawyers discussed the common gaps and weaknesses they see in company operations, culture, and regulatory adherence that lead to adverse events, such as foodborne illness outbreaks and recalls.

Food Safety Professionals Gather This Week for the 25th Annual Food Safety Summit

For 75 years, Nelson-Jameson has been a trusted source to the food and beverage processing industry.
