Submit a speaker proposal to be considered for the 2026 Food Safety Summit.
The Food Safety Summit, produced by Food Safety Magazine, is searching for food safety and quality assurance subject matter experts to present at its 28th annual event, taking place May 11-14, 2026 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
If you have groundbreaking information on new insights, research, trends, solutions, or applications related to food safety, we invite you to submit an abstract for presentation at the Food Safety Summit. This is your chance to set yourself apart by sharing your knowledge and expertise!
Deadline to submit a proposal: Monday, August 4, 2025
Our Audience:
The Summit brings together thousands of food safety professionals from across the entire supply chain including production, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, retail, foodservice, and regulatory agencies. Attendees are looking for "solutions for today and planning for tomorrow."

- Information that can be immediately implemented in the workplace

- The ability to engage the audience with a strong speaking ability and in-depth knowledge of the subject matter

Final acceptance will be based on the course's ability to meet submission standards, overall program or track specifications, and industry need. Additionally, the Food Safety Summit Educational Advisory Board will review the proposed topics for relevancy and industry feedback.
*The Food Safety Summit does not allow vendors to speak in the education program. However, there are sponsorship opportunities for the sessions, live streaming, and on the show floor in the Solutions Stages, Tech Tents, and Podcast Theater Live.
