Michael Roberson is the Director of Corporate Quality Assurance with Publix. His team leads food safety and food science programs for Publix. He is actively engaged with AFDO, CFP, FMI, IFT, IAFP and SQF. Well respective for his food safety leadership, Michael has testified before the U.S. Senate on the importance of a safe food system. He currently serves the CDC’s Board of Scientific Counselor’s FSMA Food Safety Workgroup as a food safety expert. He is also the current board chair with the Partnership for Food Safety Education. Michael is an active volunteer with Boy Scouts of America and the United Way.
