Dr. Gongyi Shi is the Director of Scientific Affairs at Bruker Microbiology & Diagnostics. He has been involved with development and commercialization of the MALDI Biotyper technology for the past 18 years. Dr. Shi has over twenty years of experience in translational research in areas of biomarker discovery and proteomics using mass spectrometry. He received his Ph.D in biochemistry and cell biology from State University of New York, Stony Brook.
