Christie Tarantino-Dean joined the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) in 2014 as CEO after more than 20 years of association management experience. IFT is a scientific association of more than 14,000 members from 90 countries. Prior to IFT, Christie led Association Forum and served as the Executive Director of the Academy of General Dentistry. She also served as the Associate Vice President of Member Relations at the Professional Convention Management Association and Membership Director at the Alabama State Bar. She is an active leader in the association community and recognized as a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives.
